Joan is a frequent Guest Speaker and Leader within the International Franchise Association (IFA), Joan has presented material on topics including “E-Disclosure and Registration Basics”, “Sweepstakes, Lottery and Give-Away Restrictions” and “Brand Marketing” as well as moderating roundtable discussions on franchising topics. Joan was invited to speak at the annual Forum on Franchising Meeting (ABA) on the topic “Managing a Franchise Law Practice”. She was a panelist for the “Women’s Development Center of Westchester County’s program titled “Evaluating a Franchise Opportunity” and a panelist for Huntingdon Valley, PA Community Development Centers’ program on “Small Business Development and Franchising”. Recently, Joan was a visiting lecturer for several classes within the Entrepreneurship Program at Juniata College.
